You don’t have to search high and low to find the perfect glassware in just the right colors. A little tinted paint is all it takes.
Breathe new life into old glassware with just a few items: vases or bottles, acrylic paint, and Classic Stampin’ ink (US/CA). (If you don’t have old glassware, thrift shops and yard sales usually sell glassware for next to nothing!)
The paint is not waterproof, so make sure you don’t fill the vase with water. But that opens you up to lots of creative options. You can create Designer Series Paper (US/CA) flowers, like we did, that coordinate with the gorgeous, glossy finish of the vase. Make one vase or create an entire set—it’s an inexpensive and easy way to refresh your décor with the Stampin’ Up! colors you love.
Lucky Limeade Cardstock; First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper; Melon Mambo, Pool Party, and Summer Starfruit Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills; Blossom Petals and 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punches; white acrylic paint; glassware; floral wire
